“Todos a la Cultura” is an “Insignia” program of nuvoil’s corporate social responsibility management model that encourages a balance between employees’ work activities and family life and promotes the value of universal cultural knowledge through workshops and artistic activities in the workplace, as well as equal opportunities for artists in the region through the acquisition and dissemination of their plastic art works exhibited in the most important forums of the country’s oil and gas sector.

In response to this, a link was established with Arbor Ars Educacion Arte y Cultura A.C., formed by a multidisciplinary group of artists in order to put “Todos a la Cultura” into practice, thus creating a space that promotes family and community relationships within the organization to help reduce the negative effects of work stress or “burnout” syndrome and create a favorable environment for human development and equal opportunities.

Aware of the situation caused by family separation, work pressure and the insecurity risks at the operational fields where nuvoil provides its services, the need to contribute to the management of employees and their families’ resilience came up, thus promoting a favorable workplace.

“Todos a la Cultura” involves cultural and artistic activities put together through workshops, courses and theatrical plays, thus creating a space within the organization to promote family and community relationships.

At nuvoil we are motivated to promote the physical and emotional well-being of workers and their families through a program that encourages peace in the face of insecurity at conflict workplaces, as well as equal opportunities for artists who contribute to the cultural wealth of the Veracruz region. All this is being done with the purpose of demonstrating the possibility to link innovation and sustainability through culture and peace in the workplace.

“Todos a la Cultura” program is aligned with the corporate social responsibility model and has been implemented in the four locations where nuvoil is present: Veracruz, Poza Rica, Villahermosa and Reynosa, thus benefiting 576 employees and 84 family members and covering 53% of nuvoil’s workforce. The “Movement and problem solving” workshop started in Veracruz in March and will continue to be given in all regions.
